Empty Overview for a newly registered demonstration user
The account has money, but an expense will not save
Check the currency and selected funding bucket. The purchase plus fee must fit that bucket’s available balance, or the unallocated balance when using No bucket. An account can contain money assigned to other purposes.
Expense bucket and category controls
Use assignment or a bucket transfer when you actually want to change the purpose of existing money.A save or refresh failed
Keep the form open and read the response. Check your connection and retry after inspecting Transactions, so you do not accidentally record the same event twice. A spinning button is not proof that an entry was saved.

Changing the split did not change earlier money
That is expected: split suggestions affect future income. Earlier allocations stay as recorded. Explicitly editing an income event is a separate correction.

Does archiving erase history?
No. Archived accounts and buckets retain their entries. An account’s inclusion switch controls its contribution to Overview totals separately. In version 1.0.3, bucket restoration has a known issue: Restore bucket repeats the archive action. Avoid archiving a bucket you still need.
